Last updated October 22, 2026 This Privacy Policy explains what information CNXTNS collects when you visit cnxtns.com, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. It applies to visitors of the Site and to clients who use our client portal at portal.cnxtns.com. ### 01Information we collect #### Information you give us When you book a consultation, fill out a form, or contact us, we collect the information you provide, which may include your name, email address, phone number, business name, business location, website, and anything you write in a message or tell us on a call. If you are a client and use our client portal, we also collect the account details, business information, files, and photos you provide there. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google. #### Information collected automatically When you visit the Site, we and our service providers automatically collect device and usage information, including IP address, approximate location derived from IP address, browser type and settings, operating system, device identifiers, referring URLs, the pages you view, the links you click, and the dates and times of your visits. This information is collected through cookies, pixels, and similar technologies described in section 4. #### Information from other sources We may receive information about you from advertising platforms (for example, that you clicked one of our ads), from business data providers, and from publicly available sources such as business directories and licensing records. ### 02How we use information - to respond to your inquiries and schedule and conduct consultations; - to evaluate whether we can serve your business and your territory; - to provide, operate, secure, and improve the Site and our services; - to send marketing communications about our services, subject to your opt-out rights; - to measure the performance of our own advertising and to build and serve advertising audiences on platforms such as Meta and Google; - to comply with law, enforce our Terms, and protect our rights and the rights of others. ### 03How we share information We do not sell your personal information for money. We share information in the following circumstances: - **Service providers.** Companies that host the Site, provide our CRM and scheduling tools, send email and text messages, provide analytics and security, and process data on our behalf. They may use your information only to provide services to us. - **Advertising partners.** We share device and usage information, and in some cases hashed contact information, with advertising platforms such as Meta and Google to measure our ads and to show ads to audiences likely to be interested in our services. Under some state privacy laws this is considered "sharing" for targeted advertising or a "sale," and you have the right to opt out (section 8). - **Legal and safety.** When required by law, subpoena, or legal process, or when we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others. - **Business transfers.** In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of all or part of our business. - **With your direction.** When you ask us to share information or otherwise consent. ### 04Cookies and tracking technologies We use the following categories of technologies on the Site: - **Essential.** Required for the Site to function, including security and keeping you signed in to the client portal. - **Analytics and performance.** Tools that help us understand traffic and page performance, such as Cloudflare Web Analytics. - **Advertising.** The Meta pixel, Google tags, and similar technologies that measure advertising and build audiences. - **Embedded tools.** Our scheduling tool, provided through our CRM platform, sets its own cookies when you interact with it. You can block cookies through your browser settings, although some features may not work. The Site does not currently respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals, but it does honor Global Privacy Control signals as an opt-out of sharing for targeted advertising where required by law. ### 05Communications and text messages If you provide a phone number when booking a consultation or submitting a form, you agree that we may call or text you about your request, including appointment confirmations and reminders, and about our services. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to opt out and HELP for help. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of purchase. To opt out of marketing emails, use the unsubscribe link in any email or contact us. ### 06Data retention We keep personal information for as long as needed for the purposes described in this Policy, including to maintain business records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Inquiry and lead records are generally retained for thirty-six (36) months after the last interaction unless a client relationship is formed, in which case records are kept for the life of the relationship and for a reasonable period afterward. ### 07Security We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including encrypted connections and access controls on the systems we use. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. ### 08Your privacy rights and choices Depending on where you live, you may have the right to: - **Know and access** the personal information we hold about you and receive a copy of it; - **Correct** inaccurate personal information; - **Delete** personal information, subject to legal exceptions; - **Opt out** of the sale of personal information and of sharing or processing for targeted advertising; - **Not be discriminated against** for exercising these rights; - **Appeal** a decision we make on your request. These rights are available to residents of California under the CCPA/CPRA and to residents of other states with comprehensive privacy laws, including Colorado, Connecticut, Oregon, Texas, Virginia, and others. We extend the same request process to all U.S. visitors as a courtesy. **To opt out of sharing for targeted advertising**, you can enable Global Privacy Control in your browser or email us at [jeremy@cnxtns.com](mailto:jeremy@cnxtns.com) using the subject line "Do Not Sell or Share." **To exercise any other right**, email [jeremy@cnxtns.com](mailto:jeremy@cnxtns.com) with the subject line "Privacy Request" and tell us what you are asking for. We will verify your identity by confirming the email address or phone number on file and respond within the time required by law, generally 45 days. An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf if you provide written permission. If we deny a request, you may appeal by replying to our response. **California notice.** In the preceding 12 months we have collected the categories of personal information described in section 1 and shared device, usage, and hashed contact information with advertising partners as described in section 3. We do not sell personal information for money and do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes other than those permitted by law. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16. ### 09Children The Site is directed to businesses and to adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it. ### 10Visitors outside the United States The Site is operated from the United States and is intended for U.S. businesses. If you visit from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your country. ### 11Changes to this Policy We may update this Policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page shows when the current version took effect.
